Kelly Krechmer’s field observations, photography, and audio recordings have contributed to biodiversity research, species documentation, and conservation education projects worldwide. Bird Audio Recordings and Ornithological Research
Kelly’s bird sound recordings have contributed to international research initiatives and biodiversity collections, including the Female Bird Song Project, an international collaboration documenting female bird vocalizations involving researchers at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Leiden University. Her female bird song recordings are being incorporated into this growing global research collection focused on improving understanding of avian communication and behavior.
Her recordings have also contributed to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology Birds of the World resource, including an audio recording of a Swainson’s Warbler featured on the species account page.

While documenting alpine biodiversity in Rocky Mountain National Park, Kelly photographed Pretty Jacob’s-ladder (Polemonium pulcherrimum), a high-elevation wildflower adapted to the unique conditions of mountain ecosystems.
